Chicken and SweetCorn Soup

Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup Recipe is a popular chicken soup prepared at all houses. It is very easy to make SweetCorn chicken recipe and is very tasty and delicious. Mostly cooked in winter to stay warm and feel better. Check our other soup recipes

Ingredients for Chicken and SweetCorn Soup

1 tin cream style sweetcorn (450gms)

1/2 cup sweetcorn kernels

150 gms boneless chicken breast cut into thin shreds

4 cups water

1/2 tsp salt (according to taste)

1 chicken soup cube

2 tbsp oil

2 tbsp finely chopped carrot

3 tbsp finely chopped cabbage

2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp white pepper powder (according to taste)

1/2 tsp white pepper

3 tbsp cornflour mixed with 3 tbsp water

SERVING (GREEN CHILLI VINEGAR)

1/4 cup white vinegar

1/4 cup water

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp salt

3-4 chopped chilli


Directions for Chicken and SweetCorn Soup

1Boil water and add chicken and salt. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from fire. Strain the chicken pieces from the stock.

2Crush the soup cube and add it to the stock, and keep the chicken and the stock aside

3Heat oil in wok/kadhai. Add carrot, cabbage and corn kernels, stir for just one minute, See that the vegetable color is not discolored.

4Add the stock and bring to boil

5Add the cream style corn and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.

6Add white pepper and sugar

7Mix cornflour with water, and slowly add to the soup stirring constantly, until the soup is thick, bring to boil. Simmer the soup for 2 minutes. Check salt and add if needed.

8Add boiled chicken and cooked for another 5 minutes, and soup is ready

9Serve chicken and sweetcorn soup hot with green chillies vinegar.
