Goan MeatBall Curry Recipe a very delicious goan curry dish which is I know from my childhood. Try to prepare this goan meatball curry with coconut milk and other spices, it is really a tasty dish. Here lamb or beef can be used to prepare the goan meat ball curry at home. This is also called Indian Meat Kofta. Check our other Meat Recipes

Ingredients for Goan MeatBall Curry Recipe, MeatBall Curry with Coconut

For Goan MeatBalls

500 gms Minced Lamb / Beef

1 onion finely chopped

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tbsp coriander leaves

1 tbsp mint leaves

1 green chilly chopped fine

1 tbsp vinegar

1 egg beaten

For Goan Meatball Curry / Goan Koftas Masala Paste

3 kashmiri chillies

4 cloves garlic

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

6 cloves

5 peppercorn

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 inch cinnamon stick

For Goan MeatBall Curry

1 chopped onion

1 chopped tomato

2 cups coconut milk

5 curry leaves

2 green chilies chopped

salt

oil

coriander leaves chopped


Directions for Goan MeatBall Curry Recipe, MeatBall Curry with Coconut

1Mix all the ingredients in the Goan MeatBalls and make small balls and keep aside to make Goan MeatBall Curry.

2Take all the ingredients in the Goan Meat Curry / Goan Koftas Masala Paste add little water and grind them to a fine paste and keep it aside

3Take oil in the frying pan and fry the meatballs till cooked and keep them aside on paper

4In cooking pan heat 2 tbsp oil and fry the chopped onion till slightly brown

5Then add the chopped tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes becomes soft

6Then add the masala paste that was kept aside and fry for atleast one minute

7Add the coconut milk, curry leaves and green chillies and then bring it to a boil

8Now gently add the meatballs in the curry and simmer for atleast 2 minutes

9Now the Goan MeatBall Curry is ready, sprinkle coriander leaves and this goan kofta / meatballs can be served with boiled rice, chappati or bread (goan pao)
