Tandoori Fish Tikka is made from any white fish, Salmon or Mackeral which is mostly used for this tasty recipe. Tandoori Fish Recipe is very famous fish dish cooked in Indian Style and very much on demand at restaurants as well as world wide. Ingredients for Tandoori Fish

500gms Fish (salmon or white fish) cut into 4cm cubes or whole promfrets slitted on top

Tandoori Fish Marination

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 cup Coriander leaves

2 tbsp Lime Juice

1 tbsp grated Lime zest

1 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder

1/2 tsp Cumin powder

1/ 2 tbsp Garam masala

1 ½ tsp salt

oil

1 tbsp Gram flour

1/2 cup chung yogurt

Tandoori Fish Chutney

2 cups coriander leaves

2 Green chilies

4 garlic cloves

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp yoghurt


Directions for Tandoori Fish

1Make chutney from the Tandoori Fish Chutney ingredients and keep aside

2Make fine paste with little oil and the other tandoori fish marination ingredients (except gram flour, yogurt).

3Heat oil in a pan and add the gram flour, and stir it to make paste, and cook for nearly 1 minute till it is colored lightly

4Now add this to the fine paste along with the yogurt and mix well.

5Gently mix the fish pieces in this paste and let it marinate for 1 hour.

6Pre-heat the oven to 200˚C and the put the dish in the baking dish and cook for 10-15 minutes on the top rack.

7Turn the fish pieces once and the Tandoori fish is ready

8Serve Tandoori Fish Tikka hot and with the chutney kept aside
