    Ingredients for Tisreo Sukhe Recipe, Goan Clams Dry

    40 - 50 clams / tisreo

    1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

    2 medium chopped onions

    1/2 tsp turmeric powder

    1 tsp chilli powder

    2 green chillies slit

    1/2 cup grated coconut

    1/2 tsp garam masala

    a pinch of sugar

    1 tbsp Tamarind (soaked in 1/4 cup warm water)

    2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

    4 tbsp Oil

    salt as per taste


    Directions for Tisreo Sukhe Recipe, Goan Clams Dry

    1Wash the Clams nicely and open them.

    2Then retain the clams half containing the flesh and 3/4 cup clams water as stock

    3In the pan heat oil and ginger garlic paste and fry for few seconds

    4Then add onions and fry till are transparent

    5Then add turmeric powder and chilli powder and fry for a few seconds

    6Add the clams, green chillies, grated coconut, garam masala, sugar, tamarind water, 1 tbsp coriander leaves, salt and stock water which was kept aside.

    7Mix all the ingredients very well and the cover the pan and let it cook on low flame till the water dries up and the clams are cooked

    8Garnish it with the remaining coriander leaves and serve the Tisreo Sukhe / Goan Clams Dry with pulao or steamed rice and Goan Curry
