- 1 kg Pork with bones gives better taste
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 Onions, Medium Size finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 cups water
For Grinding
- 17 kashmiri chillies
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp Jeera
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 6 Peppers
- 6 cloves
- vinegar
Cut the pork to medium pieces and apply the ginger garlic paste and salt and keep aside for atleast 30 minutes
Then make the grinding masala to fine powder and then add little vinegar with water and grind to fine paste and keep aside
Now fry the chopped onions with oil till they are golden brown, and then add turmeric powder, fry for another one minute
Then add the ground masala and fry for 2 minutes, and then add the marinated pork pieces and fry till the oil is separated
Then add the water and cook on low fire till the Goan Pork Vindaloo is completely ready
- This dish will be more tasty if served the next day as it gets better marinated.
